Terms of use

By installing or using Solidus you accept these terms. On the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.

1What Solidus is

Solidus is a tool to track your investment portfolios on your device: positions, returns, taxes and comparisons.

2Not advice

Solidus does not provide financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Return calculations, FIFO, loss harvesting, withdrawal scenarios and tax-return support are indicative and depend on the data you enter. Check them with a professional before making decisions or filing returns.

3Market data

Quotes come from the source you choose (a provider you select, sometimes with your own key). They are third-party data, may be delayed or contain errors, and we do not guarantee their accuracy or availability. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the source you pick and for keeping your key confidential.

4Plans and subscriptions

• Free, Plus and Pro, with the features listed on the home page and in the app.
• Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple account and renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• You can cancel at any time in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• There is a 7-day free trial for those who have not used it. If you do not cancel before it ends, billing starts.
• You can restore your purchases from the paywall or from Settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.

5If you cancel

We do not delete your data. If you return to Free after having paid, you can still see it, but you will not be able to add transactions or type prices by hand until you subscribe again. You can export your information while you have access to that feature.

6Desktop app

The Mac and Windows app is unlocked with Pro and includes one activated computer per account. You can release one to activate another. Circumventing that limit is not allowed.

7Acceptable use

You may not decompile or modify the app to bypass the limits of your plan, share your account with third parties, or use the service in a way that harms its operation or other users.

8Intellectual property

The software, brand and design of Solidus belong to its owner. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable licence to use the app. The data you enter is yours.

9Liability

We do everything reasonable to make Solidus work well, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from investment or tax decisions made with its help, or for errors in third-party data. This does not limit the rights the law gives you as a consumer nor our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10Backups

Your data lives on your device. Make copies with the export function or with sync. If you lose the encryption passphrase and the recovery code we cannot recover the cloud copy.

11Changes

We may update these terms and the plans. If a change affects you materially we will tell you in the app before it applies.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules of your country of residence protect you.
